René Lalique (French, 1860-1945): A Chiens Levrier glass bowl, the underside moulded with dogs and foliage, 24cm diameter, signature VDA France moulded on the inside of the base, c. 1921.
Signature: VDA stands for Verrerie d’Alsace glassworks at Wingen-sur-Moder. Lalique employed VDA as a signature between 1921 and 23.
