19THC MINTON PARIAN GROUP 'UNA AND THE LION'. A large Victorian parian group of Una & The Lion, the figure removing a thorn from the Lion's paw. On a curved rectangular shaped base. Impressed mark for Minton, 412, and date code for 1876. 38.5cms high, 36cms long. *CR Foot of figure chipped, crack to the base which rises up the side of the base, small firing crack to back of cloak, tooth of lion possibly restored, three small chips to side of the base rim, there is a line running across the lions foot (possibly from manufacture).
