Royal Berkshire Regiment Victorian Officer’s 1892 HM silver forage cap badge. Fine scarce Birmingham hallmarked die-cast by crowned tri-part title scroll resting in laurel sprays; voided centre bearing dragon on tablet CHINA. Reverse with registered number 212053 V&S (Vaughton & Sons, Birmingham) Loops. Old repair craw, fracture between ROYAL and leaf to laurels. GC The Regiment were granted the title “Royal” on 29th September 1885.
