Pepperbox revolver, unfluted cylinder, 4" barrels bored from one piece of steel. Each chamber with British proof marks, top bar hammer, acanthus scrolling to side panels. Action in w/order (slightly a/f), plain walnut grips, no makers name but Birmingham proof marks. Good overall condition for age, minor bruising to barrels. A "sleeper". Pistol c1840's. No licence required
