The Mentors Limited Edition Nebbiolo 2017 12 x 750ml
Here, we present a rare gem, with only 1300 bottles crafted of our fourth Limited Edition. The Nebbiolo grapes were sourced from a vineyard in Stellenbosch, where a mere 138 of these vines were planted in 2007. This wine matured for three years in 2nd and 3rd fill barrels, followed by another two years in the bottle before its release. It reveals a bouquet of rose petals, red cherries, raspberries, and subtle hints of lavender. The palate is precise, with subtle undertones of cloves, dried fruit and leather. Well-resolved, grippy tannins with a lively acidity, contribute to an enduring finish.
