2008 Joostenburg Chenin Blanc Noble Late Harvest (375ml) x 2 bottles - Provenance: Restaurant Mosaic Wine Cellar Collection

More Information

From a vineyard planted in 1989, botrytis infection was sporadic in 2008, requiring five pickings over a six-week period. In the cellar, the wine was fermented in oak, 25% new and matured for nine months. This wine has become one of Joostenburg's most popular and recognized wines and a huge amount of effort, both in the vineyard and the winery, is put into it every year. It is very dependent on weather conditions and this means that the volume produced and the characteristics of the wine vary greatly from year to year.
