A FANTASTIC EARLY 20TH CENTURY FRENCH SILVER TEAPOT, by the maker Henri Fréres & Cie, retailed by the famous company Boin Taburet. The teapot has a beautiful scroll shaped wooden handle with carved foliate detail to the top, the lid topped with a berry and leaf raised relief decoration is beautiful. Raised on four legs each with a raised relief decoration to the knee. The spout with reed detail and a ribbon & wreath decoration to the joining. A very fine piece of French silver, with Parisian Minerva fineness mark for 1st standard 0.920 silver, and maker’s mark to the underside, along with retailer’s name Bointaburet A Paris and the inventory number: 19404. Dimensions: 20 x 12 x 13cm. Total weight including handle: 506grams.
