A pair of early George III silver tea caddies and a sugar bowl, by Samuel Taylor, of inverted pyriform shape and embossed with foliate and beaded decoration, the covers with pineapple finials, on circular domed foot, London, 1760/61, the sugar vase with shaped glass insert with stopper, sugar vase height 15.9cm, 25.4oz.
Glass insert possible not original?? Caddy finials just off centre. Overall condition is otherwise good, commensurate with age and mild use.
