A WILLIAM IV SILVER TAPER STICK, shaped octagonal detachable sconce on an urn shaped pedestal holder, petal shaped stand with scroll over bird's head handle, conical snuffer on chain attached, maker's mark rubbed, London 1834, approximate weight 5.2ozt, 163 grams, height 6cm, together with an oval 20th Century gilt metal trinket box with portrait miniature of a lady to the hinged lid, oval length 7.5cm (2) (condition: taper stick has broken snuffer clip, hole along raised petal edge of base, repair to base of pedestal, other scratches and marks to the underside, the oval trinket box is loose at the hinge, otherwise in reasonable condition)
