A 19th century George Jones Majolica game pie dish and cover, of oval form, the body moulded with a frieze of rabbits amidst grasses and ferns, and the handles modelled as entwined boughs of oak. The cover modelled as an uneven field of grasses and ferns, with central handle modelled as a large seated quail. The base numbered 3416 and with George Jones ‘GJ’ impressed mark. 28cm long.
