RUDOLF NAFZIGER 1960'S MATCH WORN #7 BAYERN MUNICH JERSEY
A Rudolf Nafziger Game-Used #7 Bayern Munich Shirt dating to the mid-late 1960’s. Rudolf Nafziger may not be the household name that Franz Beckenbauer and Gerd Muller became during this triumphant era in Bavaria, but followers will remember him as a vital part of a very successful period in Bayern Munich history. This jersey was worn by the German forward during his time at the Bavarian club. The jersey was manufactured by Palme, as is correct for Bayern garments from this time period. Size is marked as a 7, which is the European equivalent of a size Medium. Nafziger’s squad #7 in stitched in cloth to the back. White body with red trim. Ribbed cuffs. V-neck. Appropriate Palme identifier label to neckline.
A truly rare and interesting piece of Bayern Munich history. A fine Rudolf Nafziger example surviving from the late 1960’s, a superb era for the club. Comes from a private collection in Bavaria.
