Edward III silver Penny, Treaty period / Post-treaty period mule, London, pellet before EDWARD, S.1625 muled with S.1642-4, 1.13g, with letter from The Searcher indicating the key feature of the Post-treaty reverse are the Roman 'N's as opposed to Lombardic 'n'. A nice example, and very rare. Gordon Doubleday had only three such mules (Glendinings 1972), one of which was a die match to this. VF
