A GOOD PAIR OF CHINESE POWDER BLUE GLAZED PORCELAIN VASES, FRENCH GILT BRONZE MOUNTED, 18TH CENTURY. Oviform vases covered with an even mottled powder blue glaze, each with underglaze blue Lozenge (Fangsheng) mark to base in double ring with a Buddhist swastika to edge, 18th century. Mounted with ornate gilt bronze handles on stand, probably French 19th century and later converted to lamps. Vase including stand and handle, 41cm. (2)
Condition: Single hole drilled to centre of each base. Small holes drilled to each side to mount the handles. The vases themselves are in good condition with no signs of cracks damage or repairs to the body. The rims under the mount have not been inspected but there are no underlying visible damages.
