An 18th century 8 day striking longcase clock by William Tipling of Leeds, the 11” signed brass dial with silvered chapter, Roman hour and Arabic minutes, with subsidiary second dial and date aperture, enclosed by Winged Putti spandrels. The 19th century oak case with plain cornice and barley twist columns, the whole raised on a plinth base. Complete with two weights and pendulum. Dial measures 11”. Total height.
Condition report: Movement and case are a marriage.
