Medicine - an early 20th century morroco leather doctor's travelling medical case, fall front enclosing three graduated drawers, 28cm high, 38cm wide; a stainless steel surgeon's box, hinged cover enclosing an arrangement of instruments, presentation plaque inscribed A Parting Gift to Dr R S Donaldson from the Congregation of Kirkpatrick Fleming U F Church, as a Token of their Esteem and to Mark the Occasion of his Leaving India to take up the duties of a Medical Missionary, 26th September 1924, 16.5cm wide; a japanned document box, 40cm wide

Provenance: Dr Robert S Donaldson (1895 - 1992) served as a Pioneer in the Royal Engineers during World War I, and, during a long medical career worked in India at the Lady Willingdon Leper Settlement, Chingleput
