Ann Collier: A unique handmade lace fan leaf created by Ann Collier, 20th century, the leaf designed with an Elizabethan couple, in two poses, worked on panels of silk net, against a bobbin lace background highlighted with gold thread, the leaf mounted on pink mother of pearl, gilded, AC initials applied to the top left, the name Ann Collier typed and applied on the lower guard, contained in a card fan box covered in black silk, guard approx. 24cm (2)
In good order, the upper guard has a repair at the shoulder, only noted from the verso.
