WW2 British RAF 5x Binoculars Prism Mk4 serial number 8610. WD Broad Arrow marked along with RAF Stores code 6E/383 B. Complete with original webbing neck strap, rubber eye cup and in original RAF carrying box. Not maker marked by only made by Ross. This is a fixed focus aircraft spotting binocular. It is reported that these instruments were used by observers in Beaufighters and other nightfighters during WW 2 for reconnaissance including U-boat spotting.
