A box containing approximately 300 standard-size postcards – mainly foreign, but with some British topographical. Asia features strongly with approximately 22 cards of China (some ethnic interest – see 3rd photo), 12 of Japan, 6 of Kuala Lumpur, 10 Hong Kong, 5 of Penang and four other Malaysian PCs, as well as 25 Turkey (all Constantinople – modern Istanbul), 15 of Bombay (India), approx. 27 Egypt, and other cards including Aden, Malta (18), Gibraltar and Spanish bullfighting. The UK cards include 26 seaside comic and 33 of Portsmouth & Southsea – mainly seafront and including 11 1970s Pamlin Print reproductions. There are also a few coins including a Churchill crown and a set of Britain’s first decimal coins (halfpenny to 10p) and the 1967 coinage (cracked plastic case); and a few modern postcards and posted and unused GB stamps.
