POW's 1887-1900 East & West Africa 1891-2 clasp and 1914 Star trio with date bar to PO.14675 Pte G. Woodberry R.M.L.I. (G. Woodberry Pte H.M.S. Racer on Africa, R.M. Brigade on Star) very fine or better. Gordon Woodberry was taken POW at Antwerp on 9th October 1914. With 2 copied pages of service record and POW roll, he was born in Tiverton 1868, enlisted 16/2/88, to RFR 28/3/09, discharged medically unfit 12/12/11, recalled 2/8/14, repatriated from Germany 21/8/18, discharged dead 25/1/20, papers confirm his previous number 4449 as found on POW roll.
