A Great Western Railway nameboard, YARNTON SIGNAL BOX, from the Oxford to Worcester route, the junction for the Witney and Fairford branch and the loop line from the LNWR Oxford Road Junction. After closure of the Witney branch to freight in 1970 the box finally closed in March 1971. Cast iron, length 60", the front repainted and bolted to a wooden backboard painted in traditional GWR colours. (Postage Band: N/A)
