A NEAR PAIR OF CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE BALUSTER VASES, LATE QING DYNASTY, 19TH CENTURY, with applied gilded dragon decoration, the sides alternately painted with courtier scenes and birds and insects amongst flowering stems

One vase has a repair to a break on the rim with associated hairline cracks. Minor chipped losses to the applied dragons. One of the chilings has a section of leg missing. Surface wear and rubbed losses to gilt decoration
The other vase in good condition with light surface wear and scratches
