This lot was part of the collection of the late John Wylie, author of The Professional Approach to Model Railways. He was a professional model maker, photographer and lecturer, whose work was featured regularly in hobby magazines and was displayed at the Royal Academy, Merley House, Rochester and Upnor Castles and at the Ashford Festival of Railway Modelling Exhibition. As a model maker his TV and Film work has included Thunderbirds, Joe 90, City Beneath the Sea, James Bond 2001 and The Billion Dollar Brain. He was also interviewed on Coast-to-Coast television.
