Victorian Gothic Revival pollard oak octagonal jardiniere stand, circa 1860, decorated with painted roundels in the manner of Medieval encaustic tiles, raised on four C-scroll supports, width 32cm, height 70cm
The condition overall is good. There is no liner present. There is slight damage to the edges of the painted panels (see images). We can find no fault elsewhere.
Note of interest: the base (legs) appear to be constructed of yew.
