A collapsible opera top hat by Victor Jay and Company, London, housed in its original card box
The hat has been stored long-term in its collapsed state and as such is deeply creased. The collapsible mechanism functions well. White silk lining is torn/punctured in a number of places but is otherwise fresh. Exterior fabric generally very good, aside from one area where it has become separated from the brim trim. Box is marked and worn.
