ENGLISH MALLET BOTTLE. 7.2ins tall. Dense black glass, quite chunky v-shaped string rim, reannealed lip finish, c. 1730-40+. Neck striations & magnificent full body sheen. Very deep base kick up & good pontil. Thin surface bubble burst (inmanufacture) otherwise as fine an example as you could ever wish to find - a real gem. (9.5/10) NR
