A Chinese Jun ware purple splashed bowl, Song/Yuan dynasty, the conical shaped bowl with slightly everted rim, a small purple splash to the interior with pale blue and mushroom grey glaze, on an unglazed foot with pooling to the glaze around the area, 20.5cm diameter, heavy crazing and small rim crack
There is heavy staining and crazing to the glaze all over and a short hairline crack measuring 15 mm to the rim, some old small splinter chips to the edge of the foot which have darkened down.
