A Russian 12 bore (17mm) model 1809 flintlock holster or belt pistol, 17” overall, barrel 10½” with brass blade foresight; half round lock with brass pan and ring neck cock, engraved “Ceconpoprusc 1813”; fullstocked with brass mounts, 5½” steel belt hook, and no provision for ramrod, the oval escutcheon engraved with the cypher of Alexander I (1801-25). WO & GC (action requires slight attention, long chip missing from fore end, some wear commensurate with age and use, butt cap finial missing) £800-900.
