The classical forms with rope twist handles with masks, raised on black basalt bases. 19cms high.
One vase has a chipped loss to the cover
Both vases have very heavy wear a rubbed losses to the paint, especially around the handles, shoulders, and feet. There is some uncertainty as to whether the black jasperware bases are original to the vases
