An Indian Miniature Painting of Krishna Milking a Cow, Late 19th Century.

An Indian miniature painting, likely from the Pahari school, depicting the Hindu deity Krishna seated cross-legged while milking a white cow. Rendered in a serene pastoral setting with pale green and blue tones, the composition is framed by a deep red border. Krishna, with his characteristic blue complexion and adorned in a yellow dhoti and jeweled crown, is accompanied by a gentle female figure and a calf suckling nearby.
