Edward Barnsley - A circular cherrywood dining table with inlaid ebony stringing to the outer edge of the top and also to the four branching supports and feet, designed by Edward Barnsley and made in his workshops by assistant Hugh Routh under foreman Herbert Upton, complete with purchase receipt dated March 1977, stamped Barnsley to a support, Height 72.5cm and diameter 153cm.

Provenance - Purchased by the present owner's father directly from Edward Barnsley.

Condition overall is very good. As long as the owner can remember, the table has been covered with a protective cover by his parents. There are some very minor scratches to the top and some minor dents to the feet, but otherwise condition is good.
The original purchase receipt accompanies this lot. There are also some letters of correspondence that were sent by Edward Barnsley to the present owner's father, discussing the manufacture and delivery of the table.
