Middlesex Regiment Boer War WW1 Queens South Africa Mons Star Group of Four Medals Awarded to Private Henry Hunt who served in the Boer War with the Middlesex Regiment Mounted Infantry and landed in France with the 4th Bn Middlesex Regiment on the 12th September 1914 and was wounded on the 19th November 1914. Comprising: Queens South Africa Medal, five clasps Cape Colony, Orange Free State, Transvaal, South Africa 1901, South Africa 1902, (6057 PTE H HUNT MIDDX REGT M.I.) 1914 Mons Star (L-6057 PTE H.H. HUNT 4/MIDDX R), British War Medal, Victory Medal, (PTE MIDDX R). Medals loose. Private Henry Hunt is confirmed as serving with the Boer War with the Middlesex Regiment Mounted Infantry and later the 2nd Bn. He landed in France with the 4th Bn Middlesex Regiment on the 12th September 1914 and was wounded on the 19th November 1914. He was wounded for a second time this being reported on the 2nd May 1918.
