Franz Iffland (German, 1866-1935), a bronze figure of Diana, holding a spear, (lacking) her hand at her side, signed and dated 1886, raised on a marble drum base, 41cm overall.
Iffland was a German sculptor and painter who worked during the late 19th and early 20th century. He was born in 1862 in Berlin, and received his formal training at the Königliche akademische Hochschule für die Bildenden Künste.
