1853 Pattern Cavalry Trooper's Sword


35 1/4 inch, single edged, slightly curved blade with fuller.  Forte with Ordnance stamp and back edge with maker "Mole".  Steel, downturn quillon and three bar guard.  Oval, steel pommel.  Checkered leather slab grips secured by five steel rivets.  Traces of silver paint to the guard and hilt.
