Pistol, a fine flintlock Officers Sea Service pistol of the Napoleonic Wars era. Brass barrel, part round, part octagonal 8", of 25 Bore (.577 Calibre), lock with swan neck cock signed "Bennett". Lock crisp on 1st & 2nd cock. Roller frizzen walnut halfstock. Sprung bayonet under barrel, blade 3". Trigger release in front of t/guard. Two small stock strengthening plates with replacement screws each side of T/Guard. Barrel with £Bennett Royal Exchange" in running script, lovely piece
