LARGE CHINESE KANGXI BLUE & WHITE JAR & COVER. A Kangxi period (1662-1722) large baluster shaped jar, profusely painted with peony and other flowers and foliage. With a dome toped cover, and with a double circle mark to the base. 44cms high. *CR Lid, a large chip and smaller chips to the rim, small firing crack to the underside of the lid.
Jar, generally good, there is a crack on the inside probably from manufacture (about 10cms long, visible inside, barely visible outside), otherwise seems generally fine.
