The XJR was a Supercharged Straight Six version of the XJ 300 and was the very first supercharged engined car that Jaguar sold. Based on the lovely 4 litre AJ6 Engine the expensive Supercharged version was the fastest production saloon car at the time, and they are now becoming quite rare, especially in this condition. This XJR is a very early non glove box model in the colour that launched the car, turquoise with a very rare full black leather interior. The car was supplied new by Hadley Green with numerous factory extras, and remains as supplied then, including tool kits.
The car is shod with nearly new and rare correct P Zero tyres. Low mileage of 82,500 miles with a huge history file including all the original handbooks, every MoT, bills and receipts totalling many thousands of pounds, an original test report, parts catalogue and service disc. A relatively modern piece of motoring history which has been in the private collection of a long standing member of the JDC for half its lifetime. The car comes with three P Zero spare tyres, spare correct Alpine Stereo, and CD player.
