Two Welsh porcelain plates, a Swansea hand painted and gilded plate with reserve floral panel around a central bird amongst foliage panel, overall gilded, apparently marked Swansea no. 219 to the base. 22cm diameter approx. Together with an unmarked Welsh porcelain plate, typically painted and moulded with floral designs in the style of William Billingsley. Unmarked. 25cm diameter approx. (2)

Consigned from a large home counties of England estate collection. The marked Swansea plate has hair crack and foot rim cracks. Unmarked floral plate has been badly broken and visibly restored.
