A 19th century fine quality Chinese silver four piece Tea and Coffee Service exquisitely decorated numerous figures amongst flowering prunus, bamboo and utensils, dragon handles and finials, raised on dragon mask and paw feet, maker: S.M, 2400gms
The service appears to be in very good condition with no obvious damage or repairs. The jug has obviously been used a lot more than the other three pieces as it is much more worn and the detail rubbed especially on the figures. Impossible to be certain what the insulators are made from as they are very small and can't see any end grain. Coffee pot 8 1/2 inch. Teapot 7 1/4inch. Jug 5 1/4inch. Sugar Bowl 6inch.
