A smokebox numberplate, 73142, from a BR Standard Class 5 4-6-0 built at Derby in 1956, one of the Class fitted with Caprotti valve gear. Allocated new to Leicester Midland and later Derby, Rowsley and Patricroft from where it was withdrawn in April 1968 and sold for scrap to Cashmores at Great Bridge. Ex loco condition.
