A Victorian gold and aquamarine fringe necklace by Mrs Newman. The necklace having a line of graduated claw set oval mixed-cut aquamarines with floral spacers, suspending a fringe of graduating pear cut aquamarine drops to fancy-link chain with an oval cut aquamarine set clasp. Unmarked, however surface tests indicate gold. Clasp verso signed MRS N. Largest oval aquamarine measures approximately 13mm x 9.7mm x 5mm. Measures 37cm. Weighs 18.8g.
