Oils on canvas relined 20 - 30 years or more ago, canvases remain tight, paint looks a little dirty with scattered retouches throughout, the image with the warship with some crackling and slight lifting of the paint near 6 o'clock, the other with stable craquelure but equally signs of retouching, housed in later giltwood frames, no labels or inscriptions verso.
