LARGE GEORGIAN DULCIMER
circa 1830, the black lacquered body of trapezoid form and with gilt decoration, with four sound holes (the original soundboard is present but has been replaced on the instrument), the longest side 116cm, with four Dulcimer beaters; together with various framed photographs of the current vendor's grandfather who owned and played the dulcimer. Jock Wilson was a musician and Comedian in the group named 'The Herd Laddies' who often appeared on the radio. The images include Jock in his various costumes
