A large fantastic limited edition (2/20) Éamonn O'Doherty (Irish, b.1939 - d.2011) multiblock print artwork titled "Banyuls" dating to 1981. Features a window view across the terracotta roofs of the titular southern French town, rendered with multiple layers of green, blue, orange and yellow. Hand signed, editioned, titled and dated in pencil to base. Housed in a smart pine wood frame.
Eamonn O'Doherty is a well renowned artist, sculptor and printmaker, with his works fetching thousands at esteemed auctions.

A prolific and diverse artist, Eamonn O'Doherty was best known for his large-scale public sculptures, thirty of which stand in Ireland, the United Kingdom and the United States. Among these are landmark works such as the Anna Livia Fountain and the Crann an Oir at Central Bank. From the early 1960s O'Doherty exhibited drawings and lithographs in Dublin galleries, later including paintings and small sculptures, the latter mainly in metal but occasionally in stone. His work appeared in small group shows and in such major exhibitions as the Independent Artists, Living Art, Oireachtas and the RHA; he was a prize winner at the Claremorris Open Exhibition, Co. Mayo (1981).
