A George III silver and tortoiseshell pair cased pocket watch, by T Strong, London, 5cm convex enamel dial inscribed with Arabic numerals, the verge fusee movement signed and numbered 41935, ownership inscription T Battrick, 1806, Corfe, the outer case decorated with borders of steel pinwork, 7.75 cm over loop, the inner case London 1799

The outer case does have surface wear as befits age and use, being taken in and out of pockets, scuffs evident. Only a minor loss to the tortoise shell in one small area. Glass with minor scratches. Dial restored and repainted. Bamfords cannot guarantee that this watch is in full working order, it will not tick if prompted. No key.
