A Louis XV-style bur walnut and oak serpentine bureau plat, late 19th century, with gilt metal mounts, the tulipwood cross banded top inset with a shaped Morocco leather writing surface, fitted a single shaped frieze drawer, supported by shaped cabriole legs, bearing an Edwards & Roberts (furniture dealers) paper label.110 cm wide x 56 cm deep x 77 cm overall height, 59 cm knee height. xv By construction, timber, mounts and format this is most likely English.
