Nigel Mason (b. 1952): oil on canvas, On Point, image 19 x 49 cm, overall 32 x 64 cm.
During his early 20's he worked as a set designer and sign maker for Yorkshire Television, he created the sign for the the Woolpack Pub in Emmerdale. He later moved to North Devon supporting himself and his young family by painting Kitchen furniture. Mason is a keen musician and the folk band he was a part of produced three albums as well as performing at Glastonbury and across Europe. In his 40's he became a lecturer in Fine Art whilst continuing to develop his own painting career as an artist. His work has been shown in a number of galleries including Castle Fine Art
