A GEORGE V SILVER NOVELTY TABLE BELL
by Grey & Co, Chester 1929, realistically modelled as a tortoise, with a silver shell and cast-iron body, the head and tail depress to operate the clockwork bell. 17cm long
The marks are clear. It functions correctly. There is a small area of corrosion on the neck of the tortoise. In generally good condition commensurate with age and use.
