Interesting Second World War selection of documents from Hamburg, relating to a sailor going absent without leave and denoting what his charges are, including a photograph of the sailor and map of Hamburg. Rough translation reads: The Standard Bearer left the Marine Lazarett Hospital Hade Marrschen on 10-06-45 Where he was stationed for treatment without the doctors agreement. He returned on 11-06-45 after 10 hours. The facts of the case are: 1.) Unauthorized distance from the Squad (Absent without leave). 2.) A Violation against the Hospital discipline/orders. [There is a suggestion that his bride will also be sentenced accordingly, which could mean he left to be married] Signed by Chief Doctor.
