An original three-sided manuscript letter, signed by Thomas Grenville, dated 10th January 1842, to Lady Davy, interesting content, excerpt includes "you need not be afraid of the cold, for besides the larger fires kept in the house, there is scarcely a night without 2 or 3 houses burning down in the streets of London", 19cm x 23cm, letter tipped-in onto card for display purposes. Grenville was a Politician & bibliophile.
