'Fingal...../14/9/57' at left. Five or six Fingal Postmasters town endorsements recorded by us - used in lieu of a cds, 13 July 1858/23 Nov. 1860 EL/env. to London each franked 6d Chalon tied by '59' or '60' barred numerals with diamond Launceston d..s. on front and carried on the Emeu or Salsette from Melbourne and a May 1853 env. 'via Port Philip' to Mount Gambier, Sth Australia ex Swansea with mss' Returned for sea postage' on front, Hobart d.s. and "5" h.s. on front.
